EUDEX (European Defense Exhibition) is a new European trade fair for defence and security technology. From 2026, it will be held in Essen as a dedicated B2B platform for industry, government agencies, armed forces and procurement organisations.
The range of exhibitors spans from traditional defence technology and dual-use technologies (cybersecurity, sensor technology, drones, materials technology) to military logistics, protective equipment and communication systems. The exhibition takes place alongside SECURITY ESSEN and can be visited in conjunction with it.
As a security-related trade fair, EUDEX places special demands on access control, confidential meeting areas and stable stand structures. We are familiar with Messe Essen, the hall logistics and the requirements of security-oriented exhibitors – and design stands that meet these demands.
Our clickwand system was developed in 2007 as a sustainable alternative to the throwaway culture in exhibition stand construction. The modular elements can be reused as often as required; they are stored after each use and can be flexibly re-deployed. With a lifespan of over 10 years, they combine sustainability, efficiency and long-term cost-effectiveness.

Stand construction is possible from 15.09. to 20.09.2026 daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; on 21.09.2026 set-up ends at 4:00 p.m. Dismantling starts on 25.09.2026 from 4:00 p.m. within the stand area, access to the exhibition grounds is possible from 8:00 p.m.; further dismantling times are 26.09. - 27.09.2026 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 28.09.2026 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Particularly relevant groups include decision-makers and experts from industry, armed forces, politics, authorities and research as well as delegations from armed forces, ministries, procurement organisations, police, security agencies, research and development institutions, institutes and technology companies.
The stand rental fees depend on the company’s annual revenue. From 30.05.2025, the listed rates are €290.00/m² for micro-enterprises, €340.00/m² for small companies, €390.00/m² for medium-sized companies and €480.00/m² for major companies. Additional items include a digital media fee of €420.00, an AUMA fee of €0.60/m² and an energy and environment fee of €8.00/m² up to 200 m²; stand construction and further services are additional.
The key feature is the combination of EURO DEFENCE EXPO, security essen, NATO JAPCC Conference and EUDEX Conference by CPM in one timeframe and at one location. A strong stand should therefore bring together military core capabilities, civilian security connections, confidential meeting situations, delegation traffic and technical demonstrations in a structured way.
