IDS 2027 will take place from 16 to 20 March 2027 at Koelnmesse in Cologne. It is the 42nd International Dental Show and is regarded as the world’s leading trade fair for the dental sector. The organiser is GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dental-Industrie mbH, and the fair is staged by Koelnmesse GmbH.
The focus is on dental practices, dental laboratories, infection control, maintenance, services, information, communication and organisation. IDS therefore covers key areas of dental medicine and dental technology: from treatment, diagnostics and digital workflows to laboratory processes, materials, hygiene, practice organisation, software, services and communication.
For exhibitors, this means that the stand must make technical expertise, medical relevance and product benefits easy to understand. Clear product guidance, functional demo areas, quiet consultation zones, clean brand staging and a stand concept that convincingly connects trust, innovation and international business development are particularly important.

Our clickwand system was developed in 2007 as a sustainable alternative to the throwaway culture in exhibition stand construction. The modular elements can be reused as often as required; they are stored after each use and can be flexibly re-deployed. With a lifespan of over 10 years, they combine sustainability, efficiency and long-term cost-effectiveness.

The minimum stand size is 12 m². Row stands are suitable for focused product lines and compact consultation, corner stands for greater visibility, peninsula stands for several topic areas and island stands for large brand presences, live demos, international customer appointments or extensive product presentations. The maximum stand height is 4 m; two-storey stands are not permitted.
Stand space costs EUR 324.00/m² net. In addition, there is an energy flat rate of EUR 13.50/m² and EUR 1,458.00 for the marketing package per main exhibitor, group organiser or group participant. Co-exhibitors cost EUR 400.00 per company; the Marketing Package Light at EUR 263.00 is added for them. Stand construction, technical equipment, electricity, water, cleaning, lighting, graphics, furniture, device and exhibit logistics as well as demo areas are added depending on the concept.
